Who Are We?

Mission Statement: Skowhegan Nursery School provides quality education for children ages 3 to 5 in a safe, comfortable, play-based learning environment. At Skowhegan Nursery School children will experience an integrated age-appropriate curriculum that supports the development of life-long learning skills in each child. Together our staff, parent and community involvement prepare children for their future by enhancing their skills—socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically through language and literacy.

Our integrated 3-, 4-, and 5-year old developmentally-appropriate program gives parents the flexibility to select the days in which they wish to enroll their child for the school year; we offer 3-hour sessions, Monday thru Friday.

Parent Information Meeting ~ Thursday, September 2 @ 6 p.m.

A parent information meeting will be held on Thursday, September 2 @ 6 p.m. This is an opportunity for parents to learn more about this year's program as well as to vote on the fundraisers for the year. Unfortunately, no child care will be provided.
